1 wounded in La Puente shooting

Gunfire in La Puente left one man wounded Sunday, Sept. 20.

The shooting was reported on Hurley Street, just west of Azusa Ave. at 7:33 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. James Long said. The victim was taken to a hospital  with a gunshot wound to the buttocks that did not appear life-threatening.

Investigators sought two possible suspects who were in a gray sedan, Long said. Descriptions of the possible suspects and more information on the sedan was not immediately available.
