While Lakers fans watching on TV won’t forget Anthony Davis’ game-winning 3-pointer in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals Sunday, Staples Center was quiet when the shot went through. LeBron James talked about wishing Davis had been able to experience the moment with a house full of Lakers fans in Staples Center.
“It probably would have blew the roof off of Staples Center …” James said.
Here’s the interview (video by Kyle Goon):
On a question from @LakersReporter, LeBron compared the shot to his own game-winner against the Magic in 2009, and said he wished Anthony Davis would have gotten to experience that with fans: “It probably would have blew the roof off of Staples Center …” pic.twitter.com/fbwZYF5mj3
